Comments are ON and Video

Hi guys, no painting for today but I did want to let you know a couple of things.

First, comments are now enabled on my blog so feel free to comment on the posts if you'd like.

Second, I put together a short video of the Two Stawberries painting I did awhile back. If you can't see the video below go here. Or you can view the painting video on youtube. Enjoy.

About

Welcome to my painting blog. This is a record of paintings that I started in January of 2006. Most of these pictures are small intimate paintings of everyday subject matter ranging from a single orange to a simple landscape; favoring simplicity over complexity in composition. I paint mostly from life and am quite interested in how light affects different subjects. In 2006 I began this blog with a painting a day focusing on exploring many types of subject matter in an effort to grow my skills as an artist. Nowadays I post less frequently, giving more attention to subjects that most interest me.

If you'd like to have the paintings sent to your email every time a new one is posted enter your email address in the box above. If you would like to purchase a painting please visit the Available Category on my website. Thanks for visiting!
