Congratulations on keeping the moonlight cool. It's a pet peeve of mine, but I can't stand these nighttime paintings that look like a sunset.
How did you paint this? Allowing your retinas to adjust from a headlamp spotlight on the linen to the subtle tones of the nightfall landscape would take serious time, wouldn't it?
For these types of paintings where the light is limited I get the composition and a few strokes of color down quickly using the light of from the car. Then I take a good photo and finish it up back at the studio.
