This is very beautiful. The color of the distant trees is so perfect, along with everything else!

This is a lovely painting that I wish I painted myself! Lovely colours getting cooler with the distance. Thanks for sharing.

That sky upper left is interesting; like looking through old glass.

Every time I look at your work, I feel like I'm seeing the world through a unique pair of eyes. It's really neat.

You photograph your paintings outdoors?

Justin Clayton said...

Thank you!

Martyn, I use to photograph my paintings outdoors but I use an indoor setup now. One very similar to what Jason Smith explains in his pdf (Not free but worth it). http://www.exposingyourself.net

Been a while since I looked in on your work Justin.
I see you are still doing great work in your signature velvety style.
Love this landscape!

I like the subdued colors, this painting reminds me of being home.

who ever bought this one is in for a treat :)

I love these scenes where the artist stops just before over-defining the landscape. It's much more expressive, conveys feeling.

I like the way it fades into the horizon - it creates a misty world which you can see in your mind, beyond what you can physically see in the painting.
