Is the linnen canvas you use a finer material than the standard canvases you see at the art stores?

Brian, this is painted on Claussens Belgium linen which is very durable. Many art stores carry this linen in large rolls. I generally recommend staying away from prestreched canvas, whether linen or cotton, as they are more often than not made out of cheap canvas that is not durable.

Thanks for the Info. I will checkn it out next time I pick up some supplies. My main problem with the cheaper canvasis is that it seam the weave is larger and I can't get as crisp of a line between colors. So I hope a better canvis will help.
