I painted this yesterday... it was a sunny break from a week full of snow in the forecast. Here's a photo I just snapped outside our doorstep. I don't think it's going to stop snowing anytime soon.

Welcome to my painting blog. This is a record of paintings that I started in January of 2006. Most of these pictures are small intimate paintings of everyday subject matter ranging from a single orange to a simple landscape; favoring simplicity over complexity in composition. I paint mostly from life and am quite interested in how light affects different subjects.
