Welcome to my daily painting blog. This is a record of paintings that I started on January 1, 2006. Most of these pictures are small intimate paintings of everyday subject matter ranging from a single orange to a simple landscape; favoring simplicity over complexity in composition. I paint mostly from life and am quite interested in how light affects different subjects. I began this blog with a painting a day and now currently post about 3-4 paintings a week.
