Some of the Daily Paintworks artists thought it would be fun to all paint the same subject today. I guess it's obvious we decided on tomatoes:)...

Welcome to my painting blog. This is a record of paintings that I started in January of 2006. Most of these pictures are small intimate paintings of everyday subject matter ranging from a single orange to a simple landscape; favoring simplicity over complexity in composition. I paint mostly from life and am quite interested in how light affects different subjects.
