Hay Bales 6x6 in.

I couldn't help but think of Monet when painting these hay bales. I thought about his persistence with certain subjects like hay stacks. He returned to them again and again, painting each piece different in some way. Some people might think he was obsessed with hay stacks for a time but I think the only thing Monet was really obsessed with was light.

Hello Justin,I really like very much your style and your artworks. This one is particularly sucessfull, very luminous, very impressionistic! You are right. Monet had a single obsession: the light. He worked his subject-matter, on several canvas at the same time with the obsession to seize the exact light at the given hour.
My best wishes

And you did capture the light so well. I love your clouds in the background, too!

Justin, Great hay bales! I did a few recently as well from a fall trip to upstate Maine. They are hard to resist aren't they!
